DIY Steam Shower

Convert your shower stall into your own personal steam bath inexpensively and in just a few easy steps. Taking a steam bath is an excellent way to remove toxins from your body and to relax. To set up your own steam bath, you’ll need a portable clothes steamer that can provide steam for least 30 to 40 minutes, which is standard for most steamers. You’ll also need a small plastic chair and some beach towels before you can enjoy your do-it-yourself steam shower.

     Hang beach towels at the top of your shower stall to enclose it as much as possible. This prevents steam from escaping.

     Fill the water reservoir of your portable steamer and place it next to your shower. Position the hose in your shower stall so the head of the steamer is directly underneath your chair.

     Turn the steamer on, get into your shower and enjoy your steam bath. Take care not to step on the steamer head, since hot steam can cause injury.
