How to Change a LiftMaster Garage Remote Code

The remote control for your Liftmaster opener lets you open and close the garage from inside your car. The feature is useful during bad weather or when you simply don't want to get out of the car to lift the door or enter a code into the outdoor control panel. To open the garage, the remote sends a special code to the receiver on the motor. You might want to change this code every few months to keep your home as secure as possible.
