How to Change the Security Code on a Craftsman Wireless Door Opener

The wireless entry panel of a Craftsman opener allows homeowners to open and close the garage door from outside of the house. The four-digit code that activates the opener should be changed frequently to keep your home and the contents of your garage safe from intruders.      Open the garage by entering the existing code into the control panel then press and hold the "#" key.

     Watch for the garage lights to blink twice. Release the "#" key.

     Enter a new four-digit code and press "Enter." The lights will blink once when the code is ready for use.
