How to Remove Codes From an Older Craftsman Garage Door Opener

Craftsman garage door openers open upon receiving a numeric code from the outdoor wireless keypad or the remote control mounted in your car. You might want to erase the codes programmed in your door opener to install a new wireless keypad or remote control. While you complete the programming process, the only way to open the door will be via the button inside the garage. New remote controls can be programmed into the blank memory.
