How to Reset Remotes on a Liftmaster Garage Door Opener

Liftmaster garage openers can be operated by remote control from the comfort of your vehicle, making it possible to glide into your garage during inclement weather without having to open the car door. You might want to reset the remote controls programmed to your opener if your remote is stolen with your vehicle. Adding a replacement remote control will return your garage door opening system to normal and ensure the stolen remote does not work if it is used outside your home.
