How to Remove the Guard From a Ryobi Table Saw

The guard assembly for the Ryobi table saw is attached to the riving knife with a bolt that allows the guard to be raised and lowered as needed. The riving knife acts as a backstop to lay the wood against while running the stock through the saw blade. The entire guard assembly, including the riving knife, is attached with a couple of bolts to the table saw. You can save time and money by removing the guard yourself.
