How to Assemble a Power Care Chain Saw Safety Helmet

The Power Care chain saw safety helmet is sold at The Home Depot and online. The safety helmet features a protective plastic shield that prevents chips of wood from getting into your eyes when using your chain saw. The safety helmet also has a built-in pair of ear mufflers to muzzle out high-horsepower engine noise which has been clinically proved to damage the soft tissue inside your ear drums.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your safety helmet's packaging and lay the parts out before you. Install the rubber liner to the inside of the safety helmet. The rubber mesh liner snaps into place via a small row of snaps and holes in the rubber meshing, not unlike those found inside a standard hardhat.

    • 2

Attach the forked ends of the ear muffle holder into the plastic slots on either side of the safety helmet. Pinch the ends together and squeeze then to fit the ends into the plastic slots.

    • 3

Insert the wide-ended bottom of the muffler holder to the plastic mounting slip on the side of the ear muffler until you hear it snap into place.

    • 4

Attach the plastic safety shield's upper band across the top front rim of the safety cap. Secure it into place by fastening the ends of the top visor strap into the flip-up, adjustable, plastic-retaining clips on each side of the helmet.

    • 5

Install chin strap by snapping it into place through the rubber meshing.
