      Brush off any dust and debris on the drill using the paint brush. Remove accumulated dirt on the drill’s vents, drill bit shank and chuck jaws with the paint brush.

      Wipe the drill using the rag dampened in a mild soap and water solution. Wipe the drill’s handles to remove any dirt, oil or grease. Use only mild soap in cleaning the drill because other cleaning agents and solvents can damage the plastic and insulated parts of the drill.

      Clean the drill’s battery pack and charger using the rag damped in the mild soap and water solution. Wipe the battery pack’s terminals using the cotton swab also dampened in the mild soap and water solution.
