Spread wood glue across the surface of one sheet in a zigzag pattern, moving from one end to the other along the path where the two pieces will join.
Spread the glue with a paintbrush to ensure proper coverage of the joint.
Press the second piece onto the first. Secure the joint with clamps. A C clamp secures two pieces sitting parallel to each other. Corner clamps hold two pieces positioned perpendicular to each other. Attach a clamp 6 to 8 inches for longer pieces. For drying time, see the recommended times listed on the glue container.
