    • The belt is 3 inches wide by 18 inches long. Upon purchase you get one belt that is 60 grit, which is a moderate grit sandpaper. There are, however, 40, 80, 100 and 120 grit belts available.

    • The Skil 7500 RT has a 6 ampere motor that runs the belt at 1,050 revolutions per minute (RPM) which makes it quite powerful for its size. Bosch and Dewalt also make belt sanders on which the belt is 3 inches wide, but it is also 21 inches long. Both of these sanders will cost you over $125.
