Instructions

    • 1

Remove any loose or rotting wood from the chipped area with the wood chisel and wipe the area clean of any dust and debris with your cloth.

    • 2

Put on the safety goggles and chemical-resistant gloves prior to handling the wood filler or epoxy.

    • 3

Paint a thin layer of wood filler into the chip and allow the filler to dry for 24 hours.

    • 4

Mix equal parts of the epoxy materials together using the putty knife. Knead the epoxy like dough for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture is blended thoroughly. Quickly mold and fill the chip with the prepared epoxy. Allow 24 hours for the epoxy to cure.

    • 5

Sand the repaired area lightly with the sandpaper until the hardened epoxy is flush with the surrounding area.

    • 6

Paint the repaired area with the wood stain markers and allow the area to dry. A second coat may be used if desired.
