How to Replace a Wooden Bottom Drawer Runner

Wooden drawers are common in quality cabinets and other furniture pieces. One typical way that wooden drawers operate is by wooden drawer runners. These runners are installed in one of two ways: on the sides of the drawer opening or in the center of the bottom of the drawer opening. Either way, drawer runners can wear out over time and require replacement. You can easily replace a worn-out wooden bottom drawer runner to keep your drawers in good working order. It is important to replace a worn runner so that it doesn’t damage the drawer or the furniture piece.
