Unscrew the peephole using a flat-head screwdriver that fits in the slots of the rim securing it to the door.

Gently pry apart the two halves of the peephole using a small pry bar. Each side of the door has one half of the peephole.

Insert the halves of the new peephole into the hole in the door. Check to make sure you put them in the correct way according to the manufacturer's directions.

Secure the peephole to the door using a flat-head screwdriver that fits in the slots of the rim and the screw provided.
