How to Adjust a Yale 2300BC Door Closer

The Yale 2300BC series door closer is designed for commercial applications like stores and factories; however, this door closer is frequently found in home offices and home-based businesses. The Yale 2300BC is often used on rental homes, home beauty salons, home pet-grooming facilities and even on non-business spaces like home humidors and wine cellars where maintaining temperature and humidity by keeping the door closed is crucial. The Yale 2300BC uses hydraulic pressure to automatically close doors. The 2300BC also has a "backcheck" feature that prevents the door from being pushed open too hard, causing damage to walls or the door. Adjusting the Yale 2300BC is easy and requires only an Allen wrench.
