Insert an Allen wrench into the screw marked "S." Turn the screw clockwise to decrease the closing speed of the door or counterclockwise to increase the closing speed. Open the door fully and allow it to close between each adjustment. Continue adjusting the "S" screw until the door closes at the desired speed.
Insert an Allen wrench into the screw marked "L." Turn the screw clockwise to decrease the latch speed or counterclockwise to increase the latch speed. Open the door fully and allow it to close between each adjustment. Continue adjusting the "L" screw until the door latches fully without slamming.
Insert an Allen wrench into the screw marked "BC." Turn the screw clockwise to increase the backcheck resistance or counterclockwise to decreae the resistance. Push the door open to the backcheck limit between each adjustment. Continue adjusting the "BC" screw until the door opens fully but cannot be pushed into adjacent walls (see references 1, page 4).
Open the door fully and allow it to close and latch several times after you have madeall adjustments to ensure proper operation through the full range of motion.
