How to Install an Electric Strike Door Lock & Courses

Electric strikes are used on doors to allow access without a traditional key. Usually they are installed in high-traffic areas that many people use. They are usually controlled by an electric card reader. Using an electric strike allows you to grant people access through a door without your having to make them use an actual key. When you go through a door with an electric strike, you do not have to turn the knob or handle but, rather, just pull, and the door will open. One of the most popular electric strike models is the 5900 series from HES Assa Abloy. This electric strike combines functionality and a simple design that makes it easy to install and compatible with most doors.
