How to Reverse Bali Panel Track Blinds

Bali panel track blinds are designed to smoothly run on a track via a gliding wheel mechanism. Each panel moves along its own track on a traverse rod, covering other panels as the blinds are drawn open. If you want the blinds to travel in the other direction, remove and reverse the track.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove the panel curtains from the traverse rod segments. The traverse rod is the sliding mechanism that moves across the window horizontally.

    • 2

Unlock the track from the brackets. Most newer models have a latch that tightens around the traverse rod, holding it in place. Tracks on older models may snap out by pressing the rod toward the wall, then pulling down and away from the bracket.

    • 3

Turn the traverse rod around, making the left side the right side.

    • 4

Secure the traverse rod back in the brackets. Press down on the latch to tighten the rod in place. Shake the rod gently to make sure it's secure. Otherwise, re-align the rod and try again.

    • 5

Snap the blinds back into place. Test the blinds by pulling the opening string to make sure they perform properly. If the left panel previously moved across to the right and covered the other panels behind it, then the right panel should now move to the left and cover the other panels as it opens.
