Place the lower closet door rail on the floor and ensure it is plumb with the upper rail according to the manufacturers instructions. Mark the mounting holes that are in the center of the rail onto the floor with a pencil. Pull the rail out of the closet opening.
Drill holes at the marks in the floor with a masonry bit that is the same diameter as the plastic anchor. Drill each hole to a depth as long as the anchor.
Vacuum each hole to remove the concrete dust with a shop vacuum or household vacuum cleaner. This ensures the plastic anchors will fit into the holes snugly.
Push the plastic anchors into each of the pilot holes in the concrete floor. Tap the top of the anchors into the floor with a hammer until they are flush with the surface of the floor.
Position the closet rail into the opening, aligning the mounting holes with the tops of the anchors. Secure the rail to the floor with the retaining screws and Phillips screwdriver.
