Removing wallpaper with a multi-tool is an efficient way to remove wallpaper. A multi-tool is also referred to as a 5-in-1 tool because of the variety of uses that is has. The part of the tool that makes it a good choice for removing wallpaper is the blade in front. The blade is stiff and provides the user with the ability to scrape off wallpaper in an efficacious manner. It is also recommended that you spray the wallpaper with a vinegar and water solution to soften it.

      Lay drop cloths or plastic on the floor because removing wallpaper is a messy job. Cover any furniture that may be exposed to the removal process.

      Mix equal parts water and vinegar in a spray bottle.

      Soak an area of the wallpaper with the vinegar and water mixture. Wait for five minutes.

      Use the blade part of the multi-tool to scrape off sections of the wallpaper. Hold the blade at a low angle to the wall to prevent gouging. Spray another section of wallpaper before starting to scrape the first section so it has time to soak. If there are sections that will not come off the wall, spray again with the vinegar and water mixture and scrape with the mulit-tool.
