How to Replace a Power Cord in a Wagner Steamer

A Wagner Power Steamer is a steam generating cleaning tool used to remove wallpaper from surfaces without harsh chemicals that can harm the environment or a person's health. The steamer has a removable power cord that attaches in a socket at the back of the unit. Any power cord damage or defect that you find, or a non-working cord, requires that you immediately replace it to prevent steamer malfunction, power source interruption and steamer damage.

     Unplug the damaged, defective and/or non-working cord from the back of your Wagner Power Steamer. Set the cord aside.

     Purchase a new cord from a Wagner Authorized Retailer (see Resources).

   • 3

     Push the plug on the end of your new cord securely into the socket on your steamer. Plug the other end into an electrical socket and use your steamer as desired.
