If you have ever nailed a picture to a wall or accidentally caused a hole while moving something, you have probably used spackle. Spackle is a thick substance used to fill holes or cracks in walls or ceilings before being sanded and painted to provide a finished surface. If you need spackle but don't have any,
or want to avoid spackle filled with chemicals, there is a homemade version that works well for small holes and cracks.
