How to Remove Glow-in-the-Dark Model Car Paint From My Walls

Accidents happen, but that does not mean that you need to continue showing them. Glow-in-the-dark model car paint is obviously not designed or intended to go on the walls of your home. The properties of this particular type of paint make it extremely adhesive, thus extra care is required in removing it. However, the paint can be removed as if it was never there. If done properly, a touch-up paint job will not be required afterwards.

Things You'll Need

  • Liquid paint remover
  • Small paint brush
  • Scraper

Instructions

    • 1

Dip the paint brush into the paint remover. The same company that made the model car paint likely makes a paint remover that would work well for removing the paint it manufactures.

    • 2

Brush over the paint with the paint remover. Keep the paint remover over the glow-in-the-dark paint only or it may remove the original wall paint unintentionally.

    • 3

Scrape the paint from the wall while the paint remover is still wet. Once the paint remover dries it is no longer breaking the bond of the paint and will not help in removing it.

    • 4

Touch-up the wall paint if necessary.
