# How to Glue a Fixture to a Ceramic Tile
Since it's easy to clean and requires little or no maintenance, ceramic tile provides an alternative to traditional paint or paper wall covering in any room, including kitchens and bathrooms. Therefore, knowing which product attaches fixtures, such as metal or glass cup holders, to ceramic tile is important. A strong bonding agent, such as super glue or silicone adhesive found at your local hardware store, provides the strength necessary to hold fixtures on ceramic.

Clean the edges of the metal fixture and the ceramic tile with soap and water. Allow them to dry completely.

Cover the end of the fixture -- where you want to attach it to the ceramic tile -- with super glue.

Press and hold the end metal fixture covered with the glue to the ceramic tile for approximately two minutes or until it forms a bond.
Glass

Clean the ceramic tile surface and the edges of the glass fixture with soap and water. Wipe them with a dry cloth and make sure they are completely dry.

Apply a liberal amount of silicone adhesive to the fixture.

Press and hold the glass fixture to the ceramic tile. Allow the silicone to bond the glass and ceramic.
