Scheduling, Time and Cost Commitment

• When you have your basic information and have received a quote, you can schedule an appointment that is convenient for you. It typically takes three to four hours to complete a vent-cleaning service on a single furnace system with 15 to 20 intake or outflow vents. With larger or more complex systems, additional time may be required and the information submitted during the quote process will identify any known additional time requirements. Duct Cleaning Process

• Once the Stanley Steemer associate arrives he will conduct a precleaning inspection and talk with you about the condition of the system and what they are going to do. They will remove, clean and put back in place all of your outflow and air return vent covers. They then will attach their industrial vacuums and use various bristle tools to sweep and dislodge the dust and debris from each piece of duct work. After that, they will blow compressed air through the ducts to drive any of the dislodged dirt and contamination into the vacuum. They will put any thing that was displaced back into position and you;re done. While the process can be a bit noisy, it is over fairly quickly, considering it is only recommend to be done once every three to five years or so.
