      Dust the air vents with a feather duster or broom to remove any dust buildup. Wipe down the grates with a damp washcloth.

      Remove the vent by unscrewing the vent cover with a screwdriver. Then set the vent cover aside. Vacuum the air duct with a dust brush to clear out debris settled in the vent.
