How to Glue Photos to Terra-Cotta Pots

Terra-cotta flower pots can easily be customized. One way is to glue photos to the terra-cotta pots for a personal touch. This is best used for indoor pots, where the elements cannot damage the photos. A project that can be completed in under an hour, affixing photos to a terra-cotta pot not only customizes it but creates a memorable piece of botanical decor.

      Select a plain terra-cotta pot. Rub a dry brush across the surface to ensure it is clean of dust or debris.

      Cut down a photograph of your choice to fit the side of the terra-cotta pot underneath the top rim and above the area the saucer covers. You can cut the corners of the photo to make them rounded if you wish.

      Hold the can of spray craft adhesive about four to five inches from the back of the photograph. Press on the nozzle to spray a mist of adhesive over the entire area.

      Affix the photo to the terra-cotta pot. Press firmly for a minute and then release. Allow the adhesive to dry.
