B-vent is designed for use with propane or natural gas appliances. These include furnaces, water heaters and boilers. It is a double wall pipe with an 1-inch air space between the sections. The inner wall is typically made from aluminum or steel, while the outer was is normally galvanized steel. Each section of b-vent has a male and female end. Connecting two sections of vent together is a simple process anyone can learn.
