The Correct Way to Connect the Damper Duct on a Nutone Model 765HL

A NuTone model 765HL, a ventilation fan with a heater and light, attaches to a building's ventilation duct with a damper fitting. The 4-inch round duct the 765HL connects to exits the building through either the roof or an exterior wall. Correctly connecting the NuTone 765HL's damper fitting prevents outside air from back-flowing into the fan. A NuTone 765HL uses a dedicated 120-volt 20-amp power source. The 765HL's 1,500-watt heater has a rotating louver that directs heat to all parts of the bathroom.
