How to Replace and Install a Soffit Vent

An attic uses lower and upper vents to create a natural flow of air through the space. As the warm air rises out of the roof vents, fresh air is drawn in through the lower soffit vents. The soffit vents are made from sheets of slotted metal and are installed by inserting one end in J-molding and fastening the other side to the bottom of the fascia board with a wood screws.
