Insert the ignition key into the starter. The key is a safety device that prevents the snow blower from starting if the key is not inserted.
Push the choke lever to "Full" and press the primer button three times to draw gasoline into the mower engine. The choke lever is located on the back of the blower near the left handle. The primer button is located next to the pull rope starter.
Plug the snow blower into a power outlet. The electric ignition is not battery powered.
Push and hold the "Starter" button until the engine starts.
Move the choke lever to "1/2" until the engine is running smoothly, without sputtering. Once the engine stops sputtering, move the choke lever to "Off."
Unplug the power cord and use the snow blower as normal.
Place the ignition key in the starter slot.
Move the choke lever to the "Full" position and press the primer button three times.
Grip the starter rope handle and pull it quickly. The engine should start up when you pull the rope.
Slide the choke lever to the "1/2" position until the engine starts running smoothly, and then slide the lever to "Off." You can now use the blower as normal.
