The John Deer 827 is a dual-stage, gas-powered snowblower. The engine is a Briggs&Stratton, four-cycle 250 CC, OHV snow series engine. The operation is controlled by a friction disk drive with six forward gears and two reverse gears. The engine gas tank holds 3 quarts of fuel and is considered CARB compliant.
The John Deer 827 is operated from the handlebars, where the speed control module, gear shift and chute rotation control is located. The 827 is also capable of clearing a 27-inch path. This snowblower features a push button start system with a recoil backup The snowblower sits on 16X4.8 X-Trac tires and combines a 190-degree rotating chute for ease of mobility in only three turns. The 827 is also capable of blowing snow 11.5 feet away under normal snow pack conditions.
In addition to superb handling, the John Deer 827 also features heat treated, reversible skid-shoes. Another features to consider is the incorporated noise reduction muffler system, making the snowblower less noisy for use in suburban neighborhoods. The 827 also has halogen headlights for low-light conditions as well as a tool kit and cleaning brushes for periodic maintenance.
