Toro 1800 Snow Blower Specifications

The Toro Power Curve 1800 is an electric snowblower suitable for residential use to clear walks, decks and driveways after light to medium snowfalls. This unit is maintenance free and does not require gas, oil or tune-ups, just a nearby outlet and an extension cord. Toro's Power Curve system incorporates a curved rotor with a funnel-shaped housing and an adjustable Zip deflector to direct snow. Wide rubber paddles propel the 1800 forward and clear snow residue down to the pavement.
  1. Motor and Drive System

    • The electric motor in the Toro 1800 is a double-insulated, series-wound 15-amp AC motor. It drives a Poly-V belt that rotates the two-bladed, curved snow removal rotor.

    Clearing Dimensions

    • The 1800 has an 18-inch clearing width and a 10-inch intake height. In a single pass, it produces a snow cut depth of 12 inches.

    Capacity

    • This unit is rated to clear up to 700 pounds of snow per minute with a throw distance of up to 30 feet. Exhausted snow is directed through a deflector chute adjustable to any direction in a 160-degree range.

    Extension Cord

    • A three-prong polarized outdoor extension cord should be used. For lengths up to 100 feet, a minimum 14 AWG cord should be used. For lengths from 100 to 150 feet, a minimum 12 AWG cord should be used.
