# How to Install Snow Blades for a Polaris ATV
Removing snow from your driveway and walkways is a laborious task. One way to reduce the work is by installing a snow blade on your Polaris ATV. The small size and maneuverability of a ATV makes it a valuable snow removal tool. It also saves you from purchasing a snow blower to do the same job. Polaris Industries uses a special mounting system called "SpeedKey." This allows the installation and removal of a snow blade in minutes.

Drive the ATV up to the snow blade aligning the front of the ATV with the plow's mounting brackets. Place the ATV's parking brake on.

Insert the snow blade into the "SpeedKey" mounting bracket by lifting it with you hands and pushing it it. When installed correctly your will hear an audible "clicking" sound as it locks into place.

Press the "cable out" button on the ATV's winch controls. Lock the winch's hook onto the snow blade.

Press the "cable in" button on the ATV's winch controls to raise the snow blade off the ground.
