How Do I Get My 37A Snow Blower on My 110 John Deere?

A snow blower significantly reduces the challenge of snow removal. Attaching one to a tractor reduces the challenge even further.       Remove and replace the original bolts on both draft arms, found on the right and left side of the tractor beneath the engine, with M12-by-65 bolts provided 37A's installation kit using a socket wrench and socket.

      Install the J-bracket 10 inches below the top of the lift level and fasten in place with the M8 carriage bolt and lock nut using a socket wrench and socket.

      Align the sway bar brackets over the two holes found on the front-right and front-left sides of the tractor frame and fasten them using two M8-by-25 bolts and two M8 clamp-on nuts using a socket wrench and socket.

      Install the two front brackets onto the sway bar brackets using two M12 hex bolts and two M12 hex flange lock nuts. Place the M12 hex bolt head facing the outside and the bottom bolt head facing the inside and tighten with a socket wrench and socket.

      Fit the left and right sides of the lift shaft into the "D"-shaped holes on both front brackets. Slide the "D"-shaped bearings onto each front bracket and fasten the right bearing with a medium spring locking pin.

      Align the welded lift arm with the holes on the left side of the lift shaft and fasten it with long drill pin and a small spring locking pin. Slide a M10 washer on the open end of the lift arm. Slide the lift onto the open end of the lift arm and slide a M10 washer over top of the lift rod. Secure the lift rod in place with a small spring locking pin.

      Attach the lift rod yoke to the J-bracket on the lift lever using a medium drill pin and a small spring locking pin.

      Align the tractor with the back end of the snow blower. Pull the lift lever all the way down to raise the front lift shaft. Remove both spring locking pins from both sides of the snow blower and swing the mounting latches open.

      Slide the snow blower's bottom frame directly under the front of the tractor. Attach both sides of the snow blower's bottom frame to the draft arm pivot bolts using the C-latch and securing it place with medium drill pins and small spring locking pins.

      Pull the belt tightening lever away from the snow blower frame to relieve tension and fasten the drive belt onto the tractor's drive sheave. Push the belt tightening level toward the snow blower frame to tension the drive belt.

      Push the lift lever all the way forward to drop the front lift shaft. Fasten the sway bars to the sway bar brackets using large spring locking pins. Secure the two yokes to the front lift shaft using medium drill pins and small spring locking pins. Fit the slotted end of the chute over the medium drill pin on the J-bracket and secure it place with a small spring locking pin.

      Pull the lift lever all the way back to lift the snow blower frame up, wheel it into position and lower the blower frame down when ready to operate.
