Check the power cord to ensure it is completely in the outlet and that the other end is securely attached to the snow blower if it won’t start.
Hold the bail down and keep it down as you press the start button if you’re having trouble getting the snow blower started.
Press the “Overload Protection” switch near the start button if it pops out and the snow blower won’t run. Let go of the bail and let the blower cool down for a few minutes before trying again. Let it cool for 30 minutes if the switch is tripped a second time.
Unscrew the screws that hold the belt cover on the side of the machine to replace the drive belt if the rotor won’t turn. Slide the old belt off and loop a new one into its place; then replace the cover and screws.
Set the snow blower on the ground with the rotor facing up to replace the scraper if the blower is leaving a thin layer of snow behind. Remove the three screws holding the scraper on; then remove it and snap a new one into place before replacing the screws.
