How to Remove Staples in Aluminum Awnings

Awnings add decor and efficiency to the exterior windows of homes and buildings. By shading windows from the sun, awnings help keep interior rooms cooler, lowering the cost of air-conditioning. The endless combination possibilities of different colored fabrics, designs and sizes make it possible for an owner to customize his awnings. Once the colors, designs and sizes have been chosen, the awning fabric attaches to an aluminum framework with staples. You can remove these staples from the aluminum awning to make repairs or refit the frame with new fabric.
