Instructions

    • 1

Turn off the water supply to the area where you will install the hot water dispenser. Cut a hole into the sink using the drill and a drill bit appropriate for the type of material the sink is made from.

    • 2

Place the faucet into the opening in the sink and install the mounting plate on the threaded area of the faucet. Install the nut on the threaded area of the faucet. Tighten the nut using the tool that came with the hot water dispenser to prevent it from moving.

    • 3

Place the water tank under the sink in the area where you wish to install it. Keep in mind that you will need enough space under it to drain the tank if necessary. Also, keep in mind that the electrical wire to the unit should be 30 inches or less, and you do not want the water line to be longer than 16 inches. Mark the location of the holes you will need to drill using the pencil. Make sure the tank is level using the torpedo level before you permanently install it. Drill the holes for the mounting hardware using a drill and 1/8-inch drill bit. Mount the tank to the wall using two wood screws and a Phillips screwdriver.

    • 4

Install the snap-connect fitting on the end of the blue tube, making sure not to depress the gray button. Push in on it until it clicks into place. Place the white 7/16-inch tube over the center fitting with the barbs on it. Install the 5/16-inch tube on the smooth fitting and slide it on approximately 1/2 inch.

    • 5

Install the filtration system under the sink by drilling the holes for the mounting screws using a drill and drill bit. Secure it using wood screws and a Phillips screwdriver. Use the torpedo level to keep the filter level. Cut tubing to the lengths you need using the tubing cutter. The lengths you will need depend specifically on your installation. If you need to bend any tubing to complete the route from the water supply to the unit, use a tubing bender.

Slide a compression nut ferrule onto the end of your copper tubing. Connect the line to the water supply line under the sink. Connect the other end of the water supply tube to the filtration system you just installed. Connect the water tubing on the outlet side of the water filter by pushing the tubing into the opening until it is all the way in.

    • 7

Connect the other end of the tube from the filtration system to the Y-fitting. Connect one of the lines coming from the faucet into the opening of the Y-fitting, making sure the connection is secure. Connect a section of tubing into the other opening of the Y-fitting and the other end into the water tank inlet. Check all hose connections at this point to make sure they are secure. Connect the remaining line coming from the new faucet to the outlet side of the hot water tank and make sure it is secure.

Turn on the water supply line for the kitchen. Plug the power cord for the water heater into the electrical outlet. Allow ample time for the heater to heat the water for first use.
