How to Clear Clogged Water Pipes

There are a number of reasons why your pipes continually get clogged and stopped up. Accidentally dropping items into a drain, a buildup of hair or soap scum, or simply hard water can all bring the drain flow to a halt. Avoid complicated repairs or costly service calls by clearing your clogged pipes using a few household items. The acidity in the homemade solution will help break apart the clogs and restore normal flow to your water pipes.

Test the water flow. Repeat the process as necessary. After the clog has been cleared, you may want to repeat the process once a week to ensure that the pipes stay unclogged.
