Setting a Toilet on Laminate

Toilets are one indispensable bathroom component. That being the case, reflooring a bathroom with laminate requires addressing the necessary holes for reinstalling and setting the toilet onto the surface. Thankfully, with the right tools and assistance with the lifting, you can set your own toilet onto laminate flooring and have an impressive result.

Instructions

      Lay the laminate flooring over the toilet’s area. You’ll need to drill holes large enough for the toilet’s bolts, as well as saw a hole large enough for the sewer pipe. Other than that, the toilet rests on the laminate flooring.

      Add a new wax ring on top of the sewer pipe and gently press it into place. Remove any covering that was used to cover the sewer pipe during installation.

      Lift the toilet and gently move it into place, passing the bolts through the two bolt holes.

      Add the nuts over the bolt holes and tighten them down with a wrench.
