Instructions

    • 1

Wait until the corner paint fully dries. The paint might look uneven because it is still drying. Place plastic sheeting on the floor below or in front of the corner to be repaired.

    • 2

Stand on a ladder if necessary and sand the wall or ceiling surface in the corner with fine sandpaper removing the old paint. Peel off any heavy spots of paint using a razor, and then sand down the remaining paint. Wipe the sanded surface free of any debris and dust, using a clean cloth.

    • 3

Applying a strip of painters tape smoothly along the corner's edges prevents paint going onto an adjacent surface. Press the painters tape down into any surface depressions, so that paint won't seep underneath it.

    • 4

Dip the bottom third of an angled brush into the paint. Angle the brush so that the bristle tips face the surface, and then paint a line along the corner’s extreme edges.

    • 5

Dip a regular paintbrush into the paint, or dip a roller into a paint tray filled with paint, if there is enough surface area to repaint for the roller to fit. Paint the remaining corner area, overlapping the edge painted with the angled brush.

    • 6

Using the paintbrush or roller to level out the paint in spots where the brush strokes made with the two different paintbrushes intersect avoids unevenness.

    • 7

Allow the paint to fully dry before peeling off the painters tape.
