Wear clothing that you won’t mind getting paint splatters on. Use a dust mop to clean the debris and cobwebs from the ceiling.
Empty the room by removing all items, including wall decorations, and placing them in a safe location. Cover the floor and any objects too large to remove with drop cloths. Protect the trim around the ceiling with painter’s tape.
Pour Aura paint into a small paint tray. Dip the bristles of a clean extra-firm nylon or polyester paintbrush into the paint. Hold the brush over the paint tray for several seconds to let the excess paint drip back into the tray.
Paint a cut-in line -- about 2 to 3 inches where the wall meets the ceiling -- with the brush. Do this around the entire ceiling.
Attach a handle extension to the bottom of the paint roller. Place a clean roller designed for Aura paint on the paint roller. Pour Aura paint in a large paint tray.
Saturate the paint roller with the paint by rolling it in a back and forth motion in the paint tray. Lift the roller up and let the excess Aura paint drip back into the tray.
Start at one corner of the ceiling and roll the paint roller across the surface with straight strokes but in a zigzag pattern. Continue in this manner until you have the entire ceiling covered with a thin layer of the Aura paint.
Apply a second coat of paint if desired once the first coat is dried.
