Wash the surface a hose to create a clean surface. For deep oil or chemical stains, clean with steam powdered chemicals.
Apply primer to any cracks with a paint brush. There are a variety of primers available for priming concrete. Acrylic primers are more basic primers, whereas epoxy and silane penetrating sealer are primers used for protecting against more chemical and temperature abused areas common in industrial environments.
Apply fabric. Thin membranes or fabric can be purchased at hardware stores and are specifically used to reinforce cracks in concrete. Cut sections from the fabrics in roughly the same size and length of existing cracks and apply onto the cracks.
Seal the cracks. Paint an elastomeric base coat over the fabric sections. Let the base coat dry.
Use a taping knife to apply polymer concrete onto cracked sections. Let the concrete completely dry.
Use a concrete grind to smooth out the resurfaced areas.
