Instructions

    • 1

Mix the cement. In a large bucket, pour the dry cement and mix with water. The proper water to cement ratio will be provided on the packaging.

    • 2

Chisel away the brittle concrete into a square-shaped hole. Even out the bottom of the hole and undercut the sides.

    • 3

With a paintbrush, apply a concrete bonding liquid to the corners and sides of the square-shaped hole.

    • 4

Shovel the wet concrete into the hole with a metal trowel while the bonding liquid is still wet. Pile the concrete so that it is slightly mounded.

    • 5

Integrate the concrete into the surface by evening it out with the trowel. Sweep the trowel over the concrete while firmly pressing down to work the concrete fully into the hole.

    • 6

Allow the concrete to dry for 24 hours before using the steps.
