Pool Grout Repair

Pool grout is easy to repair if you have the correct tools. Make sure the area is dry for at least an hour before you start working; once you're done it's waterproof within half an hour. Wear your work clothes because pool grout can be difficult to get out of clothing. Repairing the area with pool grout will give your pool an updated look.

Instructions

    • 1

Clean the area that needs grout, using a hose. This is most commonly between cracked tiles near the edge of or on the inside lip of the pool. Let it dry for an hour.

    • 2

Push the handle on the end of the pool grout container slowly to squeeze out a thin, steady stream of grout.

    • 3

Clean the edges of the grout with the putty knife, leaving a smooth surface. Let dry for one hour before it gets wet, and 24 hours before any pressure is applied.
