Color Palette

• All of the available siding styles come in an assortment of colors. There are 20 colors in all. They range from arctic white to iron gray and everything in between. There are several shades of tan, blue, red and gold to choose from.

Styles

• Hardie offers many style choices, including "Select Cedarmill" for a real looking wood finish, "Smooth," "Beaded Cedarmill" or "Beaded Smooth." Depending on the house, one of these styles will best fit your needs.

Sizes

• All of the siding styles come in 12-foot planks and are 5/16 inches thick. They weigh 2.3 pounds per square foot. Both beaded planks are 8 1/4 inches wide, with 7 inches exposed after installation. Select Cedarmill and Smooth have options of 5 1/4-, 6 1/4-, 7 1/4-, 8 1/4-, 9 1/4- or 12-inch widths, with 1 1/4 inches being covered in each of the widths after installation.
