Remove leaves and other debris as soon as you notice them,. Vacuum or use a leaf blower to get it off the furniture. If left, the debris may leave small stains when it decomposes.

Store resin furniture during the summer and winter. The hot sun can cause the color to fade. Winter ice and snow can also damage the plastic. Some manufacturers temperature-test their furniture to withstand extensive exposure of -40 degrees Fahrenheit and 176 degrees Fahrenheit, however, the furniture will still break down over time.
