# How to Use a Graco HVLP 4000 Paint Gun
The GRACO HVLP 4000 paint gun is a fine-finish sprayer for home or commercial use. As with any appliance, always refer to the user manual for details on the sprayer and a diagram of parts.

- GRACO HVLP 4000 Paint Gun
- Paint
- Paint stick or power drill with stirring attachment
- Strainer
- Bucket
- Protective eyewear
- Protective mask

After thoroughly stirring whatever it is you want to spray with a paint stick or a drill with a stirring attachment, pour it through a strainer into a bucket.

Connect the air hose to the sprayer. Hand-tighten the connection securely. Connect the end of the hose coming from the sprayer unit to the connection on the spray gun.

Pour the paint or fluid into the gun cup. Close and latch the gun cup cover. This will secure the siphon cup.

Plug the power cord to the GRACO sprayer to a GFCI-protected electrical outlet. Turn on the sprayer and turn the nozzle to the desired spray pattern.

Use the least amount of pressure you need to cover the area completely.
