Using the power sander and a high grit sandpaper, sand down the rough stucco as smooth as possible before applying any other products.
Wash off the stucco wall with a water hose and allow to dry before applying any product.
Using the roller brush, prime the stucco wall with paint primer. Roll on a coat thick enough to fill in most cracks and uneven spots, but not thick enough to clump.
Let the primer dry overnight.
Apply the smoothing filler to the dry primed wall with the smoothing trowel. Use side strokes to create an even, flat appearance. Let the first coat dry and then apply a second coat, using the trowel to smooth out rough, cracked or inconsistent areas.
Sand the wall with the power sander, using a light grain sandpaper that will give the smoothing filler a smooth, polished look.
Use a rag to remove the dust from the sander and give the wall one final polish with the dry smoothing trowel.
