Open windows to encourage ventilation and put latex gloves on your hands.
Pour acetone on a sponge. Then wipe the porcelain sink with the sponge to remove grease, soap scum and wax.
Sand down any paint droppings or silicone caulking on the sink surface using 80-grit sandpaper.
Insert caulk into the cracks and deep scratches of the porcelain sink to repair the cracks. Push the caulk and smooth it over the cracks with your fingers.
Wipe up any excess caulk from the surface with a damp paper towel, and use a razor blade to scrape away any dried caulk that is creating a bumpy or uneven surface on the sink.
Allow the sink to dry thoroughly.
Wrap the sink fixtures and drain with masking tape and paper.
Wipe down the entire sink with acetone.
Hold a can of Bonding Agent 6 to 12 inches from the surface. Spray the entire sink using a sweeping motion, starting from the drain and working your way out to the edges of the sink. Avoid overlapping the agent to prevent runs. Allow the agent to sit for five to 15 minutes.
Hold the paint can 6 to 8 inches from the surface of the porcelain sink. Spray the surface with short sweeping motions. Allow the first coat to sit for five minutes. Then apply a second coat; let it dry. Then apply a third coat and let it dry.
Remove any overspray from the surface with paper towels and acetone.
Allow the sink to dry for 24 to 48 hours before using it.
