Melamine is a popular and inexpensive surface for kitchen cabinets, cabinet interiors and kitchen tables. With proper care, melamine tables stay attractive and functional for a long time. Protect your melamine table from scratches by using a cutting board for food preparation and cleaning the surface using only mild and nonabrasive cleaners. If scratches appear over the years, repair them quickly so they don't become permanent.
