The center of the room in feng shui, or the bagua, as it is traditionally known, represents the heart of the household around which the rest of the home should be designed. Ideally, a room should be perfectly symmetrical, according to feng shui; if your room is not symmetrical then -- according to the tradition of feng shui -- it will produce less positive energy, but you can still locate the center and decorate around it.
